The GIft of Music Foundation Inc. is a Georgia-based 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization.

At this time, there are no current openings for paid positions.  However, we do have numerous volunteer opportunities and several volunteer-to-paid positions to fill. 

Serve on the Advisory Board:  Any location, USA (Unpaid position)

We are looking for people from diverse backgrounds, skill sets, and experience levels to serve on our advisory board.  The Advisory Board will be responsible for working both individually and collectively to review the programs offered by the foundation and present ideas on how to improve our reach and impact within our mission. They will also be responsible for presenting ideas and plans for new programs, and how to best grow our donor base.  Ideal candidates will have a passion to help keep the Gift of Music alive, strongly believe in our mission and cause, and will actively participate in the exchange of ideas.  This is a non-paid (volunteer position).  Interested candidates should contact Chris Monroe directly:  cmonroe@giftofmusic.org

Instrument Team Coordinator:   Metro Atlanta, GA.  (Volunteer to Paid Opportunity*)

The Instrument Team Coordinator will be responsible for building, training, and leading the INSTRUMENT TEAM in Metro Atlanta and North GA, overseeing inbound instrument donations, inventory, and distribution of reconditioned instruments to individuals and music programs (outbound donations.)  This person will also help identify and establish Instrument Donation Drop-Off locations at schools, churches, and businesses, as well as work with school surplus warehouses to obtain instruments for our inventory.  Candidate should have exceptional organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.  ITC reports directly to Executive Director.

*This will be a volunteer position to start, but is slated to become a paid position at some point.  No guarantee of timeline for pay can be made, and salary will be determined as resources become available and a budget is established for this position.

Funding Team Coordinator:   Metro Atlanta and North GA:  (Volunteer to Paid Opportunity*)

The Funding Team Coordinator will be responsible for building, training, and leading the FUNDING TEAM in Metro Atlanta and North GA.  This includes inbound donations and outbound donations to individuals and music programs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in non-profit work and grant writing.  This person will be responsible for increasing overall inbound donations to the foundation by working to obtain grants and corporate donations.  Candidate should have exceptional organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills and be able to pass a background check.  FTC reports directly to Executive Director.

Serve on the Board of Trustees: Metro Atlanta, GA. (Unpaid position)

The Board of Trustees will be responsible for overseeing and preserving the financial and legal well-being of the Foundation.  Ideal candidates will have experience, training, and/or certification in business, finance, accounting, law/legal or non-profit management.  This is a non-paid (volunteer position).  Interested candidates should contact Chris Monroe directly:  cmonroe@giftofmusic.org
