Travis Allen Cottle is a Christian Singer-Songwriter and Worship Pastor based out of Marietta GA. When not leading Worship he has worked as a Freelance Musician, Composer/Arranger and Teacher. He received his BM in Music at Shenandoah Conservatory, and did Graduate work in Conducting and Trombone Performance at Georgia State University.
As a Freelance Musician Travis has bounced between Classical, Jazz and Pop events, performing with such diverse artists/ensembles as The Atlanta Opera, The Atlanta Pops, The Tommy Dorsey Band, Doc Severinsen, Jennifer Nettles, Evanescence and Weird Al Yankovic. Travis has also performed on screen in the CW’s The Originals and Dynasty, Starz’s Heels and Star, NBC’s Ordinary Joe and Netflix’s A Man In Full
As a Composer/Arranger Travis has served as Musical Director to several productions at the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre, including A Christmas Tradition, Jukebox Giants, Tribute Concerts and the Strand Ole Opry Series.
Travis has taught music from Pre-K through High School over the past 20 years. He started as a clinician in West Cobb with Harrison High School, McClure, Durham, and Lost Mountain Middle Schools. He later moved to the Lovett School where he started their Inaugural Rock Band Program. His last teaching stint was at Marietta FUMC’s Weekday Program as their Pre-K Music Teacher.
